of Terms and Conditions of Use of Bank’s Website

Československá obchodná banka, a.s. (hereinafter referred to as “the Bank“) issues these legal information of the terms and conditions of the use of the Bank’s website to notify individuals and legal entities – users (hereinafter referred to as “the User“) of the Bank’s and User’s rights regarding their access and use of the Bank’s websites.

The Bank runs the website www.csob.sk and other registered domains that the Bank’s terms and conditions or Bank’s advertising campaign may refer to (hereinafter referred to as “the Websites” or “Website”). The Bank being the author of these Websites has property rights to the Websites of the Bank in accordance with the Copy Right (Act 618/2003 Coll. of copy right and rights related to copy rights as later amended).

The Bank only may define, publish, amend and cancel content of its Websites and also these Terms and Conditions of Use. The User using these Bank’s Websites agrees with these conditions and undertakes to follow them.

The User is authorized to use the Bank’s Websites for own needs only. It is forbidden to interfere in their content without the Bank’s approval whatsoever or distribute or publish or enable distribution or publishing of any part of its content through them (including images, Bank’s logo, etc.). If such ban is violated the Bank may impose penalties in compliance with general legal regulations.

If access to some data and information on the Bank’s Websites is conditioned by providing details which may be of a personal nature under the personal data protection law (Act 482/2002 Coll. of Personal Data Protection as amended) the User agrees with their processing and filing with the Bank. The Bank is also authorized to offer the User with its services and products or offer services and products of any member of the financial group, which the Bank belongs to or which is a member of the Bank’s financial group.

Any information published by the Bank on the Bank’s Websites is of information nature and except from these terms and conditions any data or information published on the Bank’s Websites is not of a legal nature to establish a legal relationship between the Bank and the Website User, unless provided in the individual cases otherwise (in such cases the legal relationship is governed by these terms and conditions applicable at a time of this legal relationship). The Bank shall not be liable for any damage caused to the User as a result of the use of the Bank’s Websites, either content of information or advertising or promotion of third parties that might be used from the Bank’s Websites.

These terms and conditions of the use of Bank’s Website are in force and effective from their publishing date. The terms and conditions were published on July 15, 2008.
